New emergency response service pilot for people who fall at home

We’ve teamed up with St John Ambulance to pilot a new service for people living in Wiltshire who subscribe to our Connected Living monitored alarm service.

We hope our partnership will ease pressure on the NHS by reducing the amount of ambulance call outs to our customers who are vulnerable to falls.

Through Connected Living we support people to remain living confidently, safely and independently at home with a range of monitored technology enabled care solutions, including emergency call pendants and fall detectors.

When an alarm is raised and the St John responder attends, they will complete an initial assessment of the patient and only call an ambulance if needed. St John responders will then stay with the patient, offering a reassuring presence, until it arrives.
