Aster Group now recruiting for apprentices

Ethical developer and landlord Aster Group is looking for 13 talented youngsters to join its business as apprentices or trainees.

The company, which employs over 1,300 people in Southern England, has committed £85,000 of funding for the sixth year in a row to ensure a new generation of talent can join its ranks in 2016

The 13 positions, available at six of Aster’s offices in the region, cover a range of job roles across its entire operations. They include apprenticeships in customer services, business administration, groundworks, and skilled trades such as electrical and plumbing, as well as trainee surveyor and digital skills roles.

Rachel Broome, Aster Group learning and development director, said: “Bringing in a new generation of skills is an important part of nurturing and retaining talent in the business and is something we will continue to deliver every year as part of our commitment to giving something back.

“We have an ambitious programme to develop thousands of new homes over the next seven years, as well as continue to provide frontline services to our 75,000 customers and maintain our 28,000-strong housing stock.

“There is a wealth of opportunity at Aster for people with passion, ambition and a ‘can-do’ attitude.”
