Recruitment, Training and Qualifications
Define the regulatory requirements – candidates need to obtain the Care Certificate, but we recruit candidates who align with the values and behaviours and offer training to obtain the qualifications.
If candidates don’t have the qualifications or experience, they can learn on the job to achieve the required standards
Candidates need to meet the standards and obtain the Care certificate during the first 6 months of employment
We offer quals, training, apprenticeships, the Care Cert is fully funded by us
Pre-employment checks
Enhanced DBS is required before start date can be agreed, Aster obtain that and pay for it
Right To Work (RTW) checks, 2 years of references, full employment history, DBS, Pre-employment Health Questionnaire and support for any reasonable adjustments required
Working patterns
Offer full-time, part-time, casual contracts
Night worker roles, various shifts
