Your rent from April 2022

Last month we let you know about the changes to your rent from April and answered some of the questions you had about this.

We understand that this might be a worrying time for you as things like energy price rises, changes to Universal Credit and increases in social and affordable rent affect the money we all have to spend each month.

The increase in your rent this year will be 4.1%. The calculation uses the Consumer Price Index (CPI) figure from September every year, plus one per cent. The CPI figure was 3.1% in September.

For around two thirds of our customers this means they will see an increase of between £2.50 - £5 a week in their rent.

We understand that any rent increase can be worrying, and we’re available to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
