Investing in better roofing inspections for customers

We're investing more than £11 million in roofing improvements to over 600 homes this year, and we're making sure our teams have the right skills and knowledge to do so.

Recently, members of our Investment Delivery team took part in specialist roofing training at the BMI Redland Roofing Training Centre in Gloucestershire.

The hands-on training gave colleagues the opportunity to build their understanding of different roof types, roofing standards and common defects. They also completed practical exercises to help them find potential issues and fix them.

Why does this matter?

By investing in specialist training, we're helping our teams spot roofing issues earlier, carry out more effective inspections and make informed decisions about the work needed to keep homes safe, secure and weatherproof.

As we continue to invest in our homes, we're also investing in our people, giving them the skills and expertise they need to deliver safe, well-maintained homes and a great customer experience.
