How to pay your rent

Options and Methods Available

Via the Internet

One of the best ways to pay your rent is by registering with us and setting up an account, called MyAster, where you can pay using your debit or credit card. You can also access a range of other services via MyAster so do click here for more information.

Direct debit

You can also pay by Direct Debit, sending us automatic payments direct from your bank account. We can arrange to set up your Direct Debit for you or we can send you a Direct Debit mandate form in the post, so just call us on 0333 400 8222.

Standing Order

As an alternative to a direct debit you can set up a standing order from your bank account. This would normally be a monthly payment. When your rent changes you will have to change your standing order; whereas with a direct debit the payment will automatically change to your new rent amount.

If you wish to setup a standing order use the details below:

Bank: Barclays
Sort code: 20-65-82
Account number: 60220620 for Aster customers or 43715043 for Synergy Customers (property code beginning with a D)

At Any Allpay site or Post Office

We will send you an Allpay payment card. You can use this to pay your rent by cash/ debit or credit card or cheque at any post office and Allpay sites but not Allpay Zones.

By telephone

If you have a credit or debit card you can pay your rent over the telephone by calling 0333 400 8222.

The best way to pay your rent is by direct debit from your bank account. This is a cheap and easy way for you to pay and also for us to collect your payment. Such payments are worked out for the year ahead and a set amount is agreed that will come out of your bank account each and every month on the same day each month; making it easy for you to manage your finances.
