How your rent is charged

When is rent charged and when you have to pay

At the start of every new tenancy a rent and service charge is set according to our rent setting policy and any regulations from Government. We have many different types of tenancy and so details that relate to you can be found in your own tenancy agreement.

Some tenancies charge rent weekly others monthly; but all tenancies require you to pay your rent in advance on the day it is due. Weekly tenancies charge rent every Monday and so you would have to pay your rent every week, on the Monday it is due. Monthly tenancies require you to pay the full month’s rent on the 1st of each month.
