Why access to your home matters
From time to time, we may need to visit your home to carry out surveys, to identify where investment is required. This helps us make sure everything is safe and identify where improvements may be needed.
Our surveyors or contractors may need to:
- Access all rooms, outside areas and any outbuildings
- Enter loft spaces (if you have one)
- Photos may be taken for internal use only and will focus on areas we are responsible for.
We won’t photograph bedrooms, personal items, and we are not inspecting how you live in your home.
You won’t need to move furniture or lift carpets, but please make sure rooms are accessible, gates are unlocked and pets are secure. All colleagues and contractors carry ID.
We understand that appointments aren’t always convenient. If you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can rearrange, if helpful we can offer limited Saturday appointments for surveys.
Repeated missed appointments can delay important improvements to your home. Without the survey taking place, we cannot ensure that these works are completed.
You may have received a letter about a survey. These are carried out periodically and in phases, so there’s no need to contact us to take part. We’ll contact you directly when your home is scheduled. If you need to rearrange an appointment or require support, please contact us:

Thank you for helping us look after your home.
