Universal Credit – help available to you

We’re all being affected by an increase in the cost of living at the moment, with things like energy and fuel cost rises, rent increases and changes to Universal Credit.

If you receive Universal Credit, make sure you’re getting all the help you’re entitled to. This could include free NHS prescriptions, council tax discounts and cheaper broadband deals.

This NHS tool can help you to check you’re getting everything you’re entitled to and more guidance is available on the gov.uk website.

If you’re struggling to pay your rent please call us on 0333 400 8222 and ask to speak to your rent account team. While we can’t reduce your rent, we can help you get all the benefits you’re entitled to, and make affordable repayment plans with you if you’re in arrears.
