Help shape the future of inclusive housing – Join our LGBTQ+ Assessment Panel
Are you passionate about equity, diversity, and making a real difference in your community? If you're a social housing resident and part of the LGBTQ+ community, we invite you to be part of something meaningful this summer.
What’s it all about? Each year, housing organisations share their progress on the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge - a commitment to better support LGBTQ+ residents. These efforts are reviewed by a special assessment panel made up of staff and residents. This year, you could be part of that panel!
What you'll do:
- Take part in a 3-hour online training session
- Join a half-day online assessment session in July
- Review a pack of entries beforehand to prepare
What you’ll get: To thank you for your time and insights, you’ll receive a £100 voucher!
Who can join? We’re looking for people who:
- Identify as LGBTQ+ and are 18 or older
- Live in housing managed by a Social Housing provider or Local Authority
- Believe in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Have a passion for improving social housing
No previous experience is needed—just your voice and perspective. Full training and support will be provided.
We want to hear from you! We especially encourage applications from LGBTQ+ people of colour and LGBTQ+ disabled people to reflect the diversity of our communities.
Interested? Get in touch with jack@stonewallhousing.org to express your interest and arrange a quick chat. We’re happy to discuss any access needs you may have.
