Changes to your rent from April 2026

Over the next few weeks, you will get a letter that tells you what your rent will be from April 2026. Here’s what you need to know: 

• Your new rent amount will start from 1 April 2026 if you pay monthly, and from 6 April 2026 if you pay weekly
• If you receive Universal Credit, please wait until after 6 April to update your claim.
