Changes to MyAster

If you use MyAster to manage your home and access our services online, we want to give you an early heads-up that some changes are coming later on the year.

Over the next few months, we'll be upgrading the MyAster customer portal. The upgrade will bring the portal up to date and help us provide a more reliable experience for customers.

What do I need to know?

There's nothing you need to do just yet. We're still working through the upgrade and testing the new portal, and we'll share more information with you as we get closer to launch.

One change we already know about is how you log in. When the upgraded MyAster launches, existing users will be asked to create a new password the first time you log in. Your new password will need to be at least 12 characters long, rather than the current eight.

We're also planning to introduce multi-factor authentication in the future, adding another layer of security to your account. This won't be introduced when the upgraded portal first launches, and we'll let you know before these changes.

A more reliable MyAster

Before the new portal launches, it will go through testing and we also hope to get feedback from customers in our Digital Consultation Group.

We aim to have the upgrade complete by Winter 2026.

For now, you can continue to use MyAster as normal.
