Celebrating two years of community impact

Two years ago, we donated a maintenance vehicle to local Hampshire charity Unity, and since then, it’s been transformed into something great – a travelling food pantry bringing essential support directly to rural communities in Test Valley.

Many people in rural areas struggle to access affordable food, especially during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. With the donated van, Unity was able to launch a mobile pantry service, making sure people didn’t have to miss out on everyday essentials just because of where they live.

In two years, the Unity van has:

  • Supported 1,650 mobile pantry shops across three rural areas of Test Valley
  • Delivered 1,400 food boxes to individuals and families facing homelessness or hardship through the No Food Left Behind project
  • Played a vital role during winter, delivering energy-saving packs – including heaters, blankets, and draught excluders – to those most in need.

We’re proud to have played a part in making this possible.
