Red heat health alert – potential disruption to services

Due to the red alerts in place for extreme heat across parts of England on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June, we may need to postpone appointments such as repairs and other services at short notice.
This is because some of our colleagues may not be able to travel to homes or work safely during the hottest parts of the day. They may not be able to carry out certain jobs outside of the home, or in places such as lofts or confined spaces.
There may also be disruption to travel or other infrastructure which may disrupt our activities.
If you’re affected, we may not be able to notify you in advance, but we will contact you and look to rearrange the appointment for the earliest opportunity. Call our contact centre on 0333 400 8222 if you have any questions or concerns, or contact us via the MyAster app.
