Service with Respect

The law has recently changed to stop frontline workers from experiencing abuse while they carry out their roles.

As members of the Institute of Customer Service, we’ve been supporting its Service with Respect campaign over the last 18 months to stop frontline colleagues from experience abuse of any kind.

Now an amendment to the Sentencing Bill has been passed, making assaults on people providing a public service an aggravating factor when judges look at sentencing offenders.

No one should suffer abuse of any kind while carrying out their role, and we’ll continue to support the Service with Respect campaign on behalf of our frontline customers and colleagues.
