If you are already renting a home with us, you can carry out a mutual exchange with other social housing or council tenants. To be eligible for an exchange you must keep to the terms of your tenancy agreement. If you'd like more information, read our Mutual Exchange handbook.
To help you look for a person to exchange with you can use the national online register Homeswapper. Alternatively, customers living in the Dorset area can use the Exchange Locata service.
This is a free service for our customers and can be quicker than waiting for a transfer. It’s easy to use. Just register your details on the website and wait for ‘match alerts’ to be sent to you.
