Programme Experience – our biggest transformation yet

Programme Experience is our biggest and most exciting transformation yet. It brings together all the transformation going on across the business under one umbrella.

Through five workstreams, Programme Experience will rethink what it’s like to be an Aster customer and colleague so we’re able to carry on working towards our vision of everyone having a home, focusing on our Transformation Strategy objective to continue to succeed long into the future. Those five workstreams are:

  • Customer Experience strategy which will create a modern, reliable and safe service for our customers
  • The Aster Offer which is focussed on making sure Aster is a great place to work by developing a fairer and more inclusive culture and improving the experience all colleagues have no matter what role they play and what part of the business they work in
  • Project Dynamics, which will make sure we have the right technology in place to support transformation
  • Sustainability which is concentrated on making sure we have the right spaces and right places to support our aim of a more modern and flexible approach to work
  • Aster Inc which focusses on innovative investments in our customers and communities.

We’re a strong and successful business but if we continue to do the same things, in the same way, the external landscape that impacts our business will mean we get left behind and the risk of not succeeding long into the future becomes greater. Instead, we want to seize the opportunities in front of us to keep pace. This includes new technology, changing customer habits and a different take on the world of work which has been highlighted by the pandemic.

Informing the future direction of the workstream’s focus, is Aster th.inc. Its purpose is to explore key external themes and global developments that might have an impact on our customers, the services we provide and the way we provide them and the experience our colleagues have.
