What is a medical ID bracelet?
A medical ID bracelet is a wristband containing your own unique ID number and emergency phone number. If you need help, a person can call the number and be put straight through to our monitoring centre.
With our Connected - Living Confidence package, you’ll receive your own personalised ID bracelet, so you can continue doing the things you love, with the reassurance that help is always just a phone call away.

If you need help while you're out and about, you or another individual can call the number on your wristband and be put through to our monitoring centre.
We'll ask for your personal ID number, which is located on your wristband. Our contact centre will use this number to identify you, in addition to any medical information you have provided.
Once we have your information, we'll refer to your pre-arranged emergency instructions to ensure you get the right assistance. Depending on the circumstances, we may also call the emergency services.
Is an ID bracelet right for me?
An ID bracelet helps you get the right support, no matter where you are. So, if you want that extra peace of mind when you leave the house, an ID bracelet is a great option.
ID bracelets can be used by anyone, however they may be particularly helpful, if:
- You have limited mobility
- You are elderly or vulnerable
- You have learning disabilities
- You have a health condition (e.g. Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or diabetes)
