What is a fall alarm?
A fall alarm is a wearable device that can detect when you have a fall. Using automatic sensors, it will instantly alert your emergency contact who will assess your situation and ensure you get the right help.
With our Connected Living - Confidence package, you will receive your own personal fall alarm and an occupancy sensor for your beds or chair, in addition to a monitored alarm unit and personal pendant alarm.

How our fall detector alarm works
The fall detector uses a combination of sensors to detect sudden movement, in addition to changes in height. In the event of a fall, an alarm will sound to alert you the pendant has detected a fall. If the alarm has been activated by mistake, you have the option to cancel the alarm.
If you do not manually cancel the alarm, it will send an alert to our monitoring centre to let us know you have fallen.
We will always contact you to make sure you're ok. If for any reason we cannot make contact with you, we will inform your emergency contact who will be able to check on you.
Is a fall detector right for me?
Our fall detector helps give peace of mind to anyone concerned about falling in their home.

Registration and installation
Aster Connect - £60.00*
To ensure your equipment is installed safely, a Trusted Assessor trained technician will install your equipment at a convenient time for you. There is a one-off payment of £60.00 for this service, which also covers your registration to our service.

You’ll qualify if you have a disability or a long term illness.
If for any reason you cannot hear the call handler, don't worry. They will know something has happened and call your contacts or the emergency services.
We can install urgent alarms within two working days and the rest in five working days.
Yes, all of our technicians carry ID badges and are trusted assessor trained.
If you don't have any contacts to nearby, don't worry. In the event of a fall, the fall alert systems will notify our monitoring centre and we will check in with you to make sure you're ok. If we can't make contact with you, we'll take the nessacary steps to ensure you're safe.
You will need to have a working phone line (or our GSM Solution) and an electricity supply near by.
We can supply a GSM solution which will work off a sim card, call and ask us about it.

Wherever you are, the device will send an SOS message to our monitoring centre or your chosen contacts, so you can get the right help straightaway.
