Thank you for your interest in joining Aster Group as a Non-Executive Director. Aster is an incredible business that changes people’s lives for the better. We are a large housing association owning over 38,000 homes across the south of England and London. We provide a very broad range of housing, support and care services to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We’re a private sector organisation proudly standing on our own two feet, and we have some really exciting opportunities in front of us, as well as a range of challenges.

I'm delighted to share that we have recently been awarded our first C1 grading by the Regulator of Social Housing, recognising the organisation’s strong performance in areas such as customer experience, health and safety, and regulatory compliance. Alongside achieving the C1 rating, we have retained our G1 and V2 ratings for governance and financial viability, demonstrating the Regulator’s confidence not only in Aster’s strategy, but how it is delivered. 

We are now recruiting for a Non-Executive Director to join our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future strategy of a FTSE 250 equivalent organisation with a turnover of over £300m, assets worth £2.5 billion, delivering circa 1,000 new homes a year and employing over 2,000 people.

Your strategic thinking, your support, and your challenge to the Executive Board will be core to our success. The successful candidate will also serve on the Group Risk and Assurance Committee.
