So this Saturday, Karen, Gemma and Oli attended the Help to Buy show at the Kassam Stadium in Oxfordshire.
Having attended lots of these shows in the past, the team were looking forward to meeting the people of Oxfordshire who were searching for their perfect shared ownership home in the area.
But this weekend was a first for the team; we got to try out our NEW stand! As many of you will know, our team at Aster do like to do things a little bit differently and aren’t afraid to stand out from the crowd…and we think we certainly did that this weekend!
Our new stand is pretty much like walking into your bedroom and kitchen..no roll up banners or tables for our team to sit behind! Our stand was open and welcoming like being in the kitchen at home and having a brew. The team were busy from the moment the doors opened until the end of the day with lots of people registering their details for our new homes in Grove, Didcot, Thame and Kingston Bagpuize – lots of conversations about how shared ownership works and about our homes launching in the area soon. (Click here for information on our properties in the Oxfordshire area.)
Another big hit was our photo booth, where people could have a piccy taken with our very own Ali the Aster teddy bear – the kids loved it!
Oli Schofield, Sales Negotiator for Oxfordshire and Hampshire added ‘It’s an exciting time for Aster, we have some fantastic shared ownership homes coming soon in the area, really something for everyone! We know that Oxford is such a popular place to live with high house prices that reflect this; shared ownership really gives the people of Oxford an alternative way to get their foot on the property ladder here’
The success of Saturday’s event makes us even more excited for our next Help to Buy show in Southampton on Saturday 28th October, 10am-4pm at St Mary's Stadium, Southampton. Here we will be promoting our developments in Botley, Eastleigh and Andover. So why not pop along if you are looking for a new home in Southampton? Get a picture on our photo booth machine, and who knows, maybe our stand may have a few more surprises in store…..we hope to see some of your lovely faces there!
(Tickets are free but you will need to register to get one here)
